First of all - I really like the simplicity and ease of use of Porta!
Currently there is a small fixed set of EXIF fields that can be copied to the image caption.
I would like to have a configuration option where the EXIF-info can be customized. E.g. like in the string-type spec that is used by Irfanview and XnView. Or like the tick-boxes used by JAlbum.
Secondly, to fill both major and minor captions two separate runs are required. It would be easier to have one screen where you can indicate the sources of both captions (or 'empty'). Preferably to be saved as default too. |

| This requiremnet has come up before. Let's hope that the creator of Porta reads it and keeps on developing this fine program. |

Im glad you like Porta. The decision to strip EXIF was mainly for privacy/size reasons. But you can always add the date in the image caption using the "Extract Captions" feature.
